Baildon Village Pre-School

Baildon Village Pre-School had been in a prefabricated building for over 40 years when we were approached to design their new facilities. The steeply sloping site with restricted access presented many design challenges that needed to be overcome.

Reflecting our passions for sustainable design the client asked that the building be designed to Passivhaus Standards (a form of building that is well insulated and sealed so that, in conjunction with heat recovery systems, it provides a very energy efficient building).

We are very pleased and proud that in addition to providing purpose designed facilities for the school the building is rated better than carbon neutral in its energy consumption.
